Dam Builder Productions began as a "one of" company to work on our documentary The Beaver Whisperers for CBC's The Nature of Things.  But we liked the idea of the industrious beaver and it's ability, though small, to do virtually impossible tasks.  We thought that was an appropriate metaphor for our company.  We’ve always felt that no challenge is too large or too small for us.   We’re a company that has taken on jobs ranging from modest shorts to feature length documentaries;  working on platforms ranging from of conventional television to the digital domain.  We've enjoyed working on them all and so far, metaphorically, we’ve not run across any river that we couldn’t dam.
